If you prefer candles with a warm scent, we suggest you put them in the living room.
This is because the living area is where we spend most of our time and it is also where it is important that the smells are pleasant and always pleasant.
Moreover, warm aromas, such as cinnamon, cloves, amber, chocolate, sandalwood, cloves and star anise, generate relaxation and wellbeing, but are also able to stimulate and instil energy, giving those who smell them great positivity, optimism and enthusiasm.
If, on the other hand, you prefer candles with floral or fresh aromas, we recommend placing them in the bedroom or bathroom: two places where rest is a must and where you seek refreshment after a long day.
Lavender, for example, is great for chilling out. Rose fragrances help to restore calm and let go of worries. Jasmine soothes headaches and promotes sleep. Eucalyptus encourages good breathing and vanilla (which straddles the line between warm and floral candles) calms the nervous system.
In the living room, you can place your favourite candles on the coffee table or any other low table or ledge. However, be sure to avoid flammable objects and materials. Also try to place them at a good distance from the rest of the furniture and, especially, from paper materials (such as books).
In the bedroom or bathroom, the same rules apply: it is best to reserve candles for specific locations, away from curtains, fabrics and flammable objects.
In larger rooms, you can place two candles in different positions. If you prefer to play it safe, you can select candles with similar fragrances, which are easy to coordinate, but if you like to be daring, you can also combine heterogeneous fragrances.
