Easter decorations: discover the must-have

The Easter weekend, which is on April 21 this year, is just around the corner. If you haven't already started to decorate the house, it’s time to get busy! Easter decorations can be very personal and allow you to use a lot of imagination.

For Christmas we usually buy our decorations, but for Easter the main trend is "do-it-yourself": there are so many ideas from which to draw inspiration and they are beautiful and easy both for children and adults! The main colours are pastel colours - from candy pink, to straw yellow, to pea green - while materials that are favoured are the most natural ones - such as wood, straw or fresh flowers - suitable to be moulded into many beautiful compositions. The result will be an harmonious and playful environment, perfect for the holidays!

The must-have for Easter decorations are definitely eggs, bunnies, flowers and chicks.

Eggs are the most used: you can use them everywhere! For a sober style you can choose uncolored eggs or neutral shades, otherwise unleash the imagination and paint the eggs as you like! The Easter tree is very popular: taking up the idea of the Christmas tree, if you hang the eggs on branches, flowers and bushes you will get an impressive decoration that immediately reminds of Easter. Another cool idea, instead, is to recreate nests, laying the eggs in straw baskets. And for a special look to the table, use them as placeholders!

Rabbits are another undisputed symbol of Easter: whether it's a thin shape to put on the table, a tasty chocolate rabbit or a pretty statue, this animal can not miss in your Easter decorations. Like eggs, even the bunny does not need much attention: just place it on a shelf surrounded by small colored eggs to get an immediate Easter atmosphere!

Since the approach of Easter always coincides with the arrival of spring, it is easy to embellish the house with fresh wild flowers or create Easter floral decorations! Narcissus, tulip, cherry branches and buds: these are the flowers that best represent Easter. The flowers immediately make the house more welcoming. Just put them in a vase to immediately give a more festive atmosphere to the environment. They are also used as centerpieces, either in a simple bunch or in compositions with moss, branches, candles and, of course, some colored eggs. With fresh flowers, the result is always guaranteed.
