Founded in 1932 by the architect Gio Ponti and Luigi Fontana's, whose desire was to create an artistic division within the leading glass manufacturing company of the same name. With the artistic inspiration of Pietro Chiesa and other exceptional directors such as Max Ingrand and Gae Aulenti, FontanaArte soon became an iconic brand. In an attempt to blend the aesthetic and pragmatic values of living through the skilful use of glass, FontanaArte combines design, creativity, functionality and technology in a succession of exceptional designers: a brand that has signed history of design over the years , obtaining international awards such as the Compasso D'Oro.
