Neri is the family of pens and pencils designed by Giulio Iacchetti. The first entrance for Internoitaliano into the world of stationery and desk objects. Neri is an exercise in absolute minimalism for the enthusiast of writing and design-addicted. It is not connected to the usual automatic opening/closing systems or to the classic cap; in fact, the positioning of the pen and, exceptionally, of the pen refill, with the desired length, is done by simply turning the contrast screw in chrome-plated brass, a method derived from the gesture that accompanied the adjustment of the tips of the compass used for the technical drawings. The dimensions, the velvety touch, and the positioning of the screw of the holder and pen are studied ad hoc to obtain the maximum comfort in the handle and in the ergonomics.
