Rea bench by Mazanli

The sense of weightlessness is made possible by the use of thin but highly robust square tubes (2 cm x 2 cm). The steel used is untreated: this means it will have signs of the welding and the steel will develop a patina over time. This is all intended and part of the design of the product. The REA bench is also available in white or black powdered steel, which are protected and do not develop a patina. The seating surface is 3.5 cm thick and is made of high-quality oak and oiled by hand. The metal frame is completely welded and will be delivered in one piece.

MAZANLI was founded in 2016 by Suleyman Manzanli in Berlin. Suleyman had searched in vain for a metal bed that combines minimalist design with puristic style and industrial character. His search remained unsuccessful and so he decided to weld his dream bed together by himself.
