The metal shelves DOM ONE and DOM TWO result from a passion for simplicity and were inspired by the design of the MAZANLI company logo. The minimalist contemporary Berlin design captivates with the sparing use of material. The clear, symmetrical shape, right angles and the omission of unnecessary parts create an impression of weightlessness. This is made possible by the use of thin but highly robust square tubes (1.5 cm x 1.5 cm). The steel used is untreated: this means it will have signs of the welding and the steel will develop a patina over time. This is all intended and part of the design of the product. DUA is also available in white or black powdered steel, which are protected and do not develop a patina. The real beauty of the shelves, however, lies in their play with the light. The iridescent glass shelves (8 mm safety glass) produce a true rainbow of colours. The effect is breath taking as the shelves always shimmer and reflect differently, depending on light angle and intensity of light. The metal frame is completely welded and will be delivered in one piece. DOM TWO is, in principle, DOM ONE mirrored on itself a second time. It has the same height and depth as the DOM ONE but is 200 cm wide.
