To create the Donut collection, designer Pia Chevalier was inspired by the world of confectionery. The ceramic artist designs her pieces as if they were pastries, where the handles of the cups mimic doughnut dough and the glazed finish gives the appearance of a sugar coating. The production techniques employed are such that the shape and thickness of the cups are unique every time. The colour names reflect the variety of flavours of the doughnuts: Lemon, Vanilla, Cherry, Blueberry, Bubble Gum and Pistachio.
